Establishing a solid foundation for good oral health

From the outset, we’ll guide you on effective strategies to maintain your child’s healthy teeth and discuss diet, drinks, and habits that could lead to dental problems, including gum disease. Encouraging children to adopt a regular oral hygiene routine can be challenging, but we’re here to provide tips and make teeth brushing a fun, daily activity. As your child matures, we monitor their dental and lower jaw development, offering preventive care and other necessary dental procedures.

Our holistic approach also considers other factors influencing oral health, such as systemic diseases, sleep apnea, and the child’s physical and immune system. By avoiding toxic substances and using safe oral appliances, we aim to address the root cause of health issues, ensuring overall wellness. We also advocate for a good diet, as it’s crucial in lowering the risk of dental problems. Our use of x-rays is judicious, always keeping your child’s well-being as our top priority.

Frequently Answered Questions

A baby's first teeth begin to appear in the 6 to 12-month range. Typically, it’s the two lower front ones that appear first. The baby teeth come into place from the front of the mouth and then on to the back. With that said, most children will get all their baby teeth by the time they are three.
